"What is an
"art car?" It's a vehicle that has its
appearance modified as an act of artistic
expression.
The Fremont
Art Car is designed to be an interactive art
project, created by the people of Fremont,
honoring our home here, as well as the many
places we come from.
The first
phase design features the outline of the
Mission Peak hills, made of pennies and
coins and tokens from the countries of
origin of Fremont's people. Bring your
pennies, tokens and small coins from your
country of origin, and add your own,
personal touch to a rolling work of art that
will represent Fremont in many of the 2006
Celebrate Fremont events--and perhaps for
