As part of the
50th Anniversary Celebration of
the founding of Fremont, the Future Team
will establish a comprehensive vision of the
Future of Fremont. That vision will come
from extensive citizen input and will
include the physical layout as well as the
character of our City.
- Two
sub-committees are organized. One
working on the physical layout and
General Plan of Fremont. The other
working to enhance and establish the
Character of our City.
- Join
one of our committees and help create
the Future of Fremont.

can truly be a “Golden Year” in the
history of Fremont.

Celebrates '50' - a Look to the Future

To celebrate
the 50th anniversary of Fremont's
incorporation as a city, Jan. 23, 1956, the
Celebrate Fremont committee, a community
effort, has formed to coordinate a year-long
agenda of activities. As an introduction to
the teams preparing for the two-day event at
Central Park, TCV decided to go "back to the
future" and talk with team leader, Bernard
