General
Information
- The
event will begin promptly at 9 a.m.,
Saturday, September 9, Central
Park/Lake Elizabeth.
-
Registration fee is $5, which includes a
commemorative t-shirt. If space is still
available the day of the event the
registration fee will be $7.
-
Registration is limited and will be
accepted on a first come, first served
basis.
-
Note: participants who register after
July 31 may not be guaranteed
availability of t-shirts in all sizes.
If your requested size is no longer
available, you will receive the nearest
available size.
- All
participants must arrive and be checked
in by 8:00 a.m. to allow time to
walk to a position on the path.
- Wheelchair-bound participants or those
that cannot walk long distances will
receive priority for placement on front
side of lake near check-in area.
- All
participants are requested to wear the
event t-shirt to form a solid line of
color around the lake. The shirt color
is orange. If you wish to participate,
but must wear clothing or head scarf
associated with your religious belief
please wear a shade of orange if
possible.
- The
event is scheduled before the heat of
the day, but it is recommended you bring
a hat, sunscreen, water and if you wish
a folding or collapsible chair.
- At 9
a.m. one blast of
an air horn will signal participants to
join hands; two blasts
will signal raising linked hands
collectively and three blasts
will signal the end of the event.
How to
Register
Individual Registration:
- Print
Registration Form
-
Complete the registration form and fax
or mail to address on bottom of form.
Payment can be made by credit card or
check. Payment must accompany
registration form.

Important: Keep a copy and bring
to the Hands Around the Lake
Participants Tables to receive your
t-shirt. Your form will be cross-checked
with a main database of entries
received. if you are not on the main
database you will not be issued a shirt.
Group
Registration: (requires a contact person
to be responsible for group’s shirts)

Collect your total number of
participants
-
Complete the registration form and fax
or mail to address on bottom of form.
Payment can be made by credit card or
check. Payment must accompany
registration form.
- It is
highly recommended that individuals and
groups pick up their shirts prior to the
event day. This will alleviate standing
in line to get your shirt and allow you
to choose your own entry point to the
lake path via the Fremont Police
Department path, softball complex path,
soccer complex path, Gomes Park path or
the south end/Lagoon entrance.
