Thanks to everyone who joined us for our most recent community meeting, June 5 at the Saddle Rack.

Attendees were given an update on the many exciting events and programs which have happened to date during our Anniversary year -- and learned more about our big celebration at the park, September 9 and 10.

Over 200 people brought their enthusiasm and support, and many signed up to participate in the various committees and teams.  Each committee presented an update on their objectives and projects, and attendees viewed our short video, “The City Behind the Celebration.” 

We were pleased to be able to hold the event at the newly restored, historic Center Theater, with refreshments generously provided by the following local restaurants:

Thanks to everyone who attended the Community Meeting on May 23 at Fremont's Main Library. We had a large turnout with representatives from all areas of the community.

Committees reported on progress in many areas: event planning, fundraising, programs focusing on the arts, education, and local history, and more. It's not too late to join a committee -- please review the committee descriptions and feel free to contact any committee leader to find out how you can get involved.
