Fremont, California,
May 15, 2006 — The steering committee of
Celebrate Fremont, the community-based
planning organization for Fremont’s 50th
anniversary celebration, announced today
that Wednesday, August 16 will be Fremont
Day at the A’s baseball game. Field level
tickets go on sale immediately at a $10
discount, and orders will be filled on a
first-come first-served basis subject to
availability. $5.00 of every ticket
purchased will be donated to support
Fremont’s two-day 50th
anniversary celebration, "Celebrate Fremont
@ the Park," slated to take place September
9-10, 2006 in Fremont’s Central Park. The
anniversary celebration itself will be
admission-free in order to make it inclusive
of the entire community...
