Fremont’s five Historic
Districts, Centerville, Irvington, Mission
San Jose, Niles and Warm Springs, together
with the Fremont Chamber of Commerce, have
partnered to produce one of Fremont’s most
exciting business opportunities ever –
Passport to Shop, Diner and Discover
Fremont.
For more information, visit
the
Fremont Chamber of Commerce website
The Passport is designed to encourage
residents to learn more about the businesses
in Fremont. At least 15,000 Passports will
be distributed free to Fremont residents.
The Passport will include a business
listing, by District, of participating
merchants with special offers, discounts or
incentives. Once visiting a participating
merchant, the Passport holder will have the
Passport stamped and earn the opportunity to
win fantastic prizes at monthly drawings.
With each stamp from a participating
merchant, the Passport will become more
valuable, and the more stamps, the more
fantastic the prize.
The Passport Program will begin at the
Fremont Festival of the Arts, August 5-6,
2006 and will run through December 2006.
Monthly drawings will take place at
large-scale community events, such as the
Niles Antique Festival. The winners will be
announced during that month’s community
event and posted in the Tri-City Voice and
on each Business District Associations’
websites. Individual participating merchants
may also hold their own monthly drawings and
winners will also be listed and posted in
the same manner. Additional Tree Lighting
Ceremony Prizes will be awarded at each of
the five District’s tree lighting events.
The Grand Prize Drawing will take place in
December.
Fremont businesses can participate by y
purchasing a business listing in the
PASSPORT that includes a special offer,
giveaway or ability to enter your individual
monthly drawing. The cost for a business
listing is only $115. The deadline to
sign-up as a participating merchant is June
7, 2006.
